Instruments of Faith

Scot Womble sings tenor for the group.  Charles Scot Womble was born in Richland Hills, TX.  His family attended church regularly and it lead to his receiving Christ as a young boy.  Even though his family moved quite often during his childhood, it was the guiding hand of God that strategically placed them in strong churches that molded and shaped his life.  He received a call to ministry when he was 14 years old while attending Christian Chapel in Columbia, MO.  After graduating high school he attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO where he studied music and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible.  Scot has ministered on church staff as Youth Pastor, Music Pastor, and Associate Pastor in churches from Kansas to Pennsylvania.  God led him to New Jersey in 1995 to continue his spiritual education.  In the spring of 1998 he joined the Couriers, of Harrisburg, PA.  It was then that he brought his love for music and passion for ministry full circle.  During a missions trip to the Dominican Republic, while singing with the Couriers, he realized God was fulfilling this music/mission calling in his life.  It has been his privilege to travel and minister to churches all across the US and Canada sharing the Gospel in song and in spoken word.  Scot plays trumpet and is a gifted songwriter.  Two of his songs are featured on the new CD project, We Will Follow.  Scot has traveled all across the US and Canada sharing the Gospel Message through song and preaching.  His greatest passion is being used by God as an INSTRUMENT to reach men's souls for the Kingdom.  Now God is once again confirming His calling on Scot's life by allowing him to join a ministry with the purpose and passion of communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their music.  Scot lives in Imperial, MO (outside of St. Louis).  If you would like to email Scot: scot@instrumentsoffaith.com
